About the Foundation

Nathan L. Anderson
Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
Each year the Foundation provided scholarship assistance to African-American students who are US citizens. Applicants selected pursued undergraduate training in one of four disciplines:
-
Computer Science
-
Aviation
-
Nursing
-
Music

Applications for funding were only considered for courses of study at accredited 4-year colleges or universities that lead to Bachelor degrees from that educational institution.

Applicants from Oakwood University (OU) received priority consideration because Nathan was a graduate of OU, as are both of his sisters, Nicole A. Anderson, MBA, B.Mus., and Nichelle G. Anderson, MSN, R.N. Applicants from other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) also received a higher level of consideration.
