Apply for a Scholarship

 

REQUIREMENTS

​

  1. Be an African-American student

  2. Have US citizenship

  3. Are pursuing undergraduate training in one of these four disciplines: a) Computer Science; b) Aviation; c) Nursing; and d) Music.

  4. Have a 3.0 GPA if pursuing Nursing; for the other three areas, 2.75 GPA.

  5. Download the application form, complete it, and follow the instructions for submitting.

TIPS

  • Give the essay thoughtful consideration and be sure that it fully addresses the questions.

  • Do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI), in any form, to generate the required essay.

  • Respect the document length requirement.

  • Letters of Recommendation should be on official letterhead that is dated and signed.

  • Only apply between May 15 - July 15 of each year. Early submissions sent outside that time frame will not be retained.

Scholarship Awards can range from $1,500 - $4,000 (depending on available funds, quality of the application packet, and the year of study).
